NOMINATION FORM

Last month, one of our members generously purchased THREE one-month unlimited packages for people in need. We have given these packages to 3 people with emotional, inspiring stories, which you can find excerpts of below.

Shelley and Pablo were so inspired by this, they decided to match the generous donation and give away THREE more one-month unlimited packages.

Do you have anyone in mind who would benefit from a free month of unlimited classes at BREATHE? If so, please fill out the form below.

We will be selecting 3 lucky winners as we head into 2024!

STORY EXCERPTS FROM OUR AMAZING WINNERS

"...she has worked tirelessly for years to support her children in accessing incredible opportunities, such as attending college, moving out of public housing, and securing competitive jobs. From cleaning homes with harsh chemicals and through tiring manual labor, to caring for infants at local daycares, she has served as the primary provider for her family of 4 across the past three decades. As she nears the age of 60, she continues to work 10 hours a day, 5 days a week to support herself and her husband at a daycare that is one hour away from her home by bus.

"...Even though she works so, so hard during the day, she never hesitates to generously care for others during her rare spare time...

"I would love, love, love for her to experience self-care during BREATHE classes. These classes could help her take good care of her wonderful spirit and body, which would greatly benefit from some support in strengthening muscles and releasing tension (e.g., to prevent injuries, support knee pain recovery)...I would very much so enjoy sharing BREATHE with her and attending classes with this beautiful, resilient, smart, and tremendously generous woman."

"...she just immigrated from Mexico where she struggled with a difficult family situation while supporting her little sister through a serious neurological disease. She is an extremely talented young scientist who just started her new position as a research assistant in Juan Gnecco lab at Tufts University, where she will work on treatments for reproductive diseases using tissue engineering. A free month of hot yoga classes at Breathe Cambridge could help her catch a breath after all the struggles she went through in the recent years and recover while she delves into her new research position."

"...she has had a very bumpy year. She got diagnosed with early breast cancer this summer (May) while she was on a vacation trip back home. She is in her late 20's and no one expected that to happen to someone this young...

"And she finally finished all treatments this Fall - she's back to hot yoga, rock climbing and just spreading her positive energy all around the world!!!

"She is also a PhD student at Harvard, and despite the painful + intense treatments, she never stopped working on her research. Even more, she developed many new research ideas in the realm of mental health and female well-being. She was not defeated by the sickness. Instead, she fights against it with great passion, compassion and courage."
